DESCRIPTION:The Annual Big Pine Lake Property Owners Association Meeting for Members is held in July of each year.  The purpose of the members meeting is to discuss and vote on various issues and opportunities facing Big Pine Lake property owners.\nMembership is open to all Big Pine Lake Property Owners interested in the purpose and objectives of the Association.\nInterested persons may become a voting member by completing a membership form located on the Big Pine Lake website under the Membership tab and submitting the completed form along with payment for one year’s membership dues.\nAll are welcome (but only members are able to vote). \nSpecial Guest Speaker: Liv Nyffeler\nTopic: Can a Small Dose Make a Big Difference? Preparing for Minnesota’s First Whole-Lake Copper Treatment \nLiv Nyffeler is a PhD student at the University of Minnesota’s Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center (MAISRC).\nHer research focuses on zebra mussel management\, including developing practical solutions for invasions\, understanding population dynamics\, and evaluating ecosystem responses to management actions. Liv earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison\, where she studied walleye populations in northern lakes\, and completed her master’s research at the University of Minnesota on Lake Superior lake herring (cisco) recruitment.
